Let’s get to know each other.
I am a born and raised South Seattlelite. I currently have two little kiddos with a partner and four pups. We enjoy exploring, eating new foods, and camping. I consider myself a down to earth person- who loves a good joke.
I am passionate about working with youth, families and adults. In addition to my mental health license, I earned my MA in School Counseling and have 8 years of experience in schools as a School Counselor. I understand systems and the impact they have. This helps me in my work with youth and families so they can feel empowered and be advocates for themselves.
I work with many types of clients, such as those experiencing, anxiety, eating disorders, mood disorders, and depression. Having been adopted myself and lived experience through multiple traumas, I work with both teens and adults who have been adopted, and want to do trauma work. This also includes, divorce, teen and adult grief and loss, and teen survivors of sexual assault. As a bi-racial counselor, I have a special lens of working with individuals from different cultural backgrounds. I understand both collective and individual cultural strengths and how working on goals looks differently across them. I meet clients where they are, with no judgment, and work as an ally. I truly believes in partnership.
